2025 Jubilee Year: Pilgrims of Hope

Picture
This summer we did a Jubilee Year: Pilgrims of Hope Family Adoration: Prayer, Picnic, & Play. The families had a wonderful time playing the Seeds of Hope BINGO with prizes, coloring the Seeds of Hope Coloring Sheet, planting actual seeds, and picnicking after our hour of Adoration using the Pilgrims of Hope Logo: Jubilee 2025 Themed Guided Adoration Plans. What a fun night!

All these resources are below. Just scroll down!

In the Bull of Indiction of the Ordinary Jubilee of the Year 2025, Pope Francis told us some very simple ways we can help others on our journey to heaven. He said, “that each of us may be able to offer a smile, a small gesture of friendship, a kind look, a ready ear, a good deed, in the knowledge that, in the Spirit of Jesus, these can become, for those who receive them, rich seeds of hope.”

We are all on a pilgrimage, a holy journey, to heaven.
We are filled with HOPE because Jesus opened heaven by His death on the Cross.
We are PILGRIMS of HOPE!

Seeds of Hope Bingo: A Jubilee Year of Hope Game
50 unique cards! Just print them!

Calling Cards

In the Bull of Indiction of the Ordinary Jubilee of the Year 2025, Pope Francis said, “that each of us may be able to offer a smile, a small gesture of friendship, a kind look, a ready ear, a good deed, in the knowledge that, in the Spirit of Jesus, these can become, for those who receive them, rich seeds of hope.”

When we do Works of Mercy for those near to us and those in the four corners of the world, we, in the Spirit of Jesus, are planting rich seeds of hope for others on our joint journey to the ultimate destination, heaven.

Using this fun game of BINGO, the children will learn many types of rich seeds of hope they, in the Spirit of Jesus, can plant in this Jubilee Year and the rest of their lives!

Each BINGO square has one of Pope Francis' rich seeds of hope from the Bull or a Work of Mercy. Each square also has a coordinating-colored shape - seed so that our youngest who cannot yet read can hear the beautiful actions while still finding the right square on their own based on the seeds' shape and color.

Example of calling out a card:
A purple square seed. Take a baked good to a lonely neighbor.

Actual Planting Rich Seeds of Hope!

Set up a station where children can plant actual seeds as a reminder to do Works of Mercy.

Needed Supplies:
Cups with Jubilee Logo Stickers
(Print on sticker paper, cut on a cricut machine or by hand, & seal with mod podge to make them water resistant.)
Large container with soil.
Several plastic garden trowels
Seeds
Directions

Tell the children:
Every time you look at these seeds you planted, remember to keep planting lots of “seeds of hope” to help others on our joint journey to heaven.

Jesus in the Eucharist feeds us and make us strong so we can plant many different kinds of “seeds of hope!"
